We are looking for PhD students for our project on Conceptual Change in Learning to Program. Specifically, we are looking for PhD students with the following interests and competencies:
- Automated Program Analysis (syntactic and semantic analysis of student-produced code)
- Qualitative Research (video analysis of programming interviews)
- Educational Technology (implementation and evaluation of web-based learning and assessment platforms)
These positions are fully funded and are part of the PhD program at USI. If accepted into the program, you will spend three to five years in Lugano, in the mediterranean part of Switzerland, training as a researcher.
