Progmiscon
Turn Misconceptions into Learning Opportunities 
Progmiscon is a repository of programming misconceptions. We currently have over 160 misconceptions about Java, and we are collecting the corresponding misconceptions for Python. The progMiscon.org web site currently shows a small but growing subset of the collected misconceptions. We document each misconception with information about its potential origins, its symptoms, the potential value it can have, and possible ways to address it. To support their detection, we are developing assessment activities and automatic program analyses.
